i have about 50 hours in this game of playtime and didnt have any single technical problem , ZERO freezes yet , compared to fallot 3 and new vegas (freezes every 2 hours) its a technical masterpiece , judging by low bethestda standards Lol
edit: if you have good pc , get it rather for it though , but its sure not unplayable on ps3 what some claim it to be
The only problems I have encountered have been sometimes a little lag in large cities as well as the occasional freeze for about 2-3 seconds when autosave comes on. I have logged over 70 hours and that is all that I have seen, everthing else anyone has talked about I haven't encountered. The autosave feature can be turned off but i just havent seen it as an issue for me.
Emm when I 1st played it people voices would stop during a conversation that was fixed, Bacwards flying dragons that never land and bows work reach only happened once, I manily just get game crashes. But besides that it seems fine
so is the game really broken on the PS3? i thought they patched it? I may have to get it on my PS3 soon ,so i would like to know.

The issues affect only some players. It depends on what model of ps3 they have and maybe HDDs too, probably some are slower and that might cause issues. Only my guess though.

have you also fallout 3 and/or new vegas , how does it compare to them ? Fallout 3 freezes but I don't really experience lags. Same as New Vegas. Skyrim lags when I play like 4 straight hours especially when I wait in the game for an hour.
go for it.it's a masterpiece for a game rpg.if you have a slim ps3 only.and a lot of drive spaces.the drive are constantly dealing on with the memory so....
(disk data goes in and out always) take some break pressing the start button.and don't play for 14 hours on it if you don't risk out to have corrupted datas but with the patch 1.03 i think it will not happen.
honestly it's my second game(with the patch 1.03 now) and it works fine.the game really give you the 'free playing char' you can do an assassin,a good mage or a warrior.even an marksman mage or battle mage.this is the first game i see that the game are flawless.
the only thing wrong in he game if the path difficult to follow and some mountains will block you ways for you pointer.
