Is it worth the money to get a pro over a slim? I have a 4k TV so i know the pro is a given for that but is the quality of a pro over the slim worth an additional £150?

@thedork_knight: Yes it is. I own the OG ps4 and the pro. Some of the games have significant upgrades. So is an extra $150 to enjoy your hobby in the best way possible worth it? To me absolutely!

Cant read?
150 pounds != $150 dollars.
Not worth it IMO.
I bought my PS4 when the Slim and Pro came out and I chose PS4 Slim. It is cheaper, And as someone who plays a lot of Japanese games (That many of them has Cell-Shaded Graphics to feel like anime) it wasn't worth the money for the Pro. Which I also don't have 4K TV.
If you play a lot of games that benefit from being on 4K and you care about the detials on graphics, I think the Pro is worth it. but anyway 150 British Pounds is a lot of money that you could invest in 4 new games on their release date.
I got the Pro model even though I only have a 1080p TV. I figured that since so many games on the original PS4 already run below 1080p with Pro I should at least get 1080p res (or something close to it) in every game. I also needed the spdif port the Pro has but what's missing in the Slim model.
1080p image on a 4k TV looks blurry to me, but it does depend on how well your TV model is capable at up-scaling a 1080p image. Digital foundry has also show that most newer titles tend to have slightly better performance on the PS4 pro. Whether that is worth a 150$ premium depends on your financial situation and your preference towards paying more for higher quality.
I'd definitely go with The PS4 Pro since there is PS5 release date as of right now. That means you should have plenty of time to enjoy it and not have to immediately think about the next purchase.
@valgaav_219: exacly.
I have xbox one s and ps4 pro connected them both to a 1080p sony bravia tv.
I might not buy one x and ps5 and keep playing on these machines (until 2016 august when I got one s 2tb) I still played x360.
I believe with one s and ps4 pro Im good for many many years
@atomolog: Agreed. I still have a blast playing my vanilla PS4 in 1080p because the graphics and sound quality are excellent. Once I upgrade TV I'll grab a Pro and I'll be good for a while. I haven't had my PS4 for long so I'm not really ready for the next gen yet. I'm good with this one for now lol

You're believing some douchebag analyst from Wedbush Securities? yeah why don't you throw money at him then?
He predicted PS5 in 2016 (which was PS4 Pro), and you still think 2019 is a release date and its all but confirmed.
@GTR12:
Exacly.
ps4 2013
ps4 pro 2016
ps5 Id say 2019 or 2020 minimum
Ps4 pro on 4k tv is amazing and delivers great image quality! For its price is pretty nice. (400 with controller and AAA game included seems fair price for ps4 pro. Also if they go on discount on one x release for 350 with AAA game and controller included then anyone trash talking the pro will be indeed a hater)
Haha got a bit off topic but yea trusting some random dude on the internet saying this and that will happen cannot be taken seriously!
