Slow Download for PS3??

I've been trying to figure out why my download speeds (updates, psn games) downloads not that slow but not as fast on my other console or my pc. I have a wired connection, NAT Type 2, and everything on automatic but downloads are not as fast as before. Any Ideas anyone??

Firewall on your router maybe

Put the PS3 into the DMZ

BTW My down/upload speed and ping are the same on PC (wired connected) and PS3 (wireless connected) according to speedtest.net

If you download stuff when there is more traffic than normal, its slower than usual. So for example when trying to download something about an hour after the PS store updates results in the slow speed. I have downloads of about 1.5-2.0 mbs, but when its busy i get about .5-1.0 mbs.

If you are in North America, Thursdays at 6:00 ET it gets real slow with everyone logging on to get the new stuff.

My download speed varies day to day. Some days things will download fast as hell, others it goes at a snail pace.Canvas_Of_Flesh
