Small version of PS3

When the PS2 was on the horizon, the Playstation became smaller, same thing with the ps2 (I detect a trend:) ) Anyone wonder what the new "Even slimmer PS3" will look like? And when do you think it will be released? My guess is about 3 years from now, as well as a $500/$600 price tag...

yes but if you look at the facts, when the PS3 was released the technology wasn't as new for that time period so by the time it was released there was pretty much a way to make it smaller already, wit hthe PS3 being so new in its technology, and since the whole thing is used space wize, unlike the PS2 which had that big empty space in it were you could put in a network adaptor.

Yes, Im seeing PS3Slim coming, not soon, but it'd be in about 4 or 5 years from now.....and PS3Slim might be about only $300 top. Have a great day!Dogswithguns

yeah......no...i wouldnt expec that drastic of a price drop in that short of time...they only knocked off about 170 dollars off of the ps2 so i wouldnt expect a 200 dollar diff in the ps3 in that short of time

naw man, there will never be a slimmer PS3 because PS3 has been installed with many good parts that wont breake unlike the ps2. Believe me, they can't make a slimmer ps3 with all those parts.Ackad

yea it will still be a while to that ever coming out but people are also waiting to see diferent colors as well which maybe even longer,john82493
