I think a rocket launcher is a bit trivial when compared to the gattling gun... snake would see that rocket launcher and think "this is childs play, I take down a bi pedal nuclear equipped walking tank and this is the chump that challenges me?" as a matter of fact this match up is insulting to snake lol.

Pffft... Gordon can take down wave after wave of Striders/ Hunters, which are far more advanced than any metal gear. Not to mention that Gordon has an easy time taking down soldiers with super-advanced alien technology, ZOMBIES, giant aliens, giant hyper-evolved bugs...the list could go on.

Im sorry, but as much as I love Snake, he just couldnt beat Gordon. Gordon is just too amazing.

And it one thing to worry about the Gear "Rex or whichever one," and also worry about the freakish comic book super villains you have to face before hand. I mean Psycho Mantis and many many others. I take it you have not played those MGers. I mean were talking about vilian that have more character than Marvel comic villeins. "Spelled it two ways :/

Actually I've played the entire MGS series multiple times... To be honest, Gordon could take any of the MGS bosses out with ease. (With the exception of Vamp and Fox.)

Yea but your giving him alien tech. Like you said. That kinda counter balances the whole thing. Its like saying Kratos could wax Snake because hes a God. "Well was?" Well he kinda is again. He beats one God up pretty good at the end of 2. Sorta?? Its a cliff hanger.

But back to the point. And it is true Kratos could wax Snake. But its kinda a unfair question. Because of what he has. But one one one man to man. Maybe Knife to Knife lol, Snake. Well not knife to knife over Kratos :P But at least over Gordan.
