Sniper Rifles in MW2

In this game i've only sniped with the intervention and barret .50 cal. Looking at the stats the barret looks like the best sniper even compared to the higher level WA200 and M21 EBR. People who have used the WA2000 and M21 EBR are they better or worse? What are the pros and cons?

The other ones are almost as powerful but they shoot way faster. So if you are not accurate they are better. Also they have the power to kill in one shot but not over super long distances.

.50 Cal is the best sniper rifle the M21 EBR should be considered an assault rifle

people here seem to forget that the M21 has the biggest "deep penetration" bullets in the game, it literally goes through anyone no matter where you hit him

I don't really have a favorite, but i like em' with a thermal sight :)

what is so good about the intervention? is bolt-operating, its the least powerfull sniper rifle, it only wins in front the barrett by like 1% more accuracy (its a minimum diffrence) seriously, the barrett is such abetter rifle...intervention should be the default sniper and not the barrettlightleggy

the intervention ,in real life atleast, is known as the sniper rifle with the longest range out there....

but IW gave all sniper rifles the same range so they compensated by giving the intervention extra accuracy...

and when sniping the most important thing is accuracy.... not fire rate... so using that ideology the intervention is a better rifle...

I always use the barret. One shot kills to the body, not bolt action like the annoying intervention, what is not to like? I can take out people with assault rifles when they are only a few yards away by quickly scoping and hitting them with a body shot. Barret = Pwnage

Intervention = Bolt Action Barret (therefore it is worse)
