Ok so I have been to recent 3d movies lately, and they are pretty cool, now its not the greatest thing ever but it does add some 'pop' to the movie which is pretty cool.

Alright what i want to know is it gonna use the 3d glasses like the theaters use? Or is there some way that sony will be able to render the image to look 3d without the glasses? or do you have to have one of those 3d ready tvs? which are like super expensive

I mean its all new to me and I dont even know if it will be even that great but didnt know how it would work.

You'd need a 3D capable TV, which I wouldn't advise you rush out and buy just yet. As for glasses, yes you'd most likely have to have some sort of glasses but probably not like you get at the theater, something a bit pricier I would imagine. I do recall I believe reading somewhere a while back that there is a version of 3D being worked on that would not require glasses but I really don't know all the details on that.

Nah, I would wait a few years when the tech has had time to mature / Price drops, thats my plan at least.
