So after four years, we get Crysis.

Topic. For those who don't follow the URL (won't let me link for some reason), Crysis 1 is coming to consoles over PSN and XBLA this October for $20. Thoughts? Anyone interested? At this point, does it even matter and do we need another game to release this fall? (My wallet is killing itself right now :P) Throw your two cents in the ring, ladies and gents.

i would be interested in it for the sake of playing it but with my pre orders im tapped already lol

I still have my special edition copy with the steel box haha. But it's nice from them to put it on PSN, maybe I'll buy it after all the good games stop coming out (so maybe April 2012).

After playing crysis 2 i lost insterest in these crysis games. story is boring. online is boring overall boring only good graphics.

The PC version is like dirt cheap I paid 14.99 with all the expansion what are they doing to justify the $59.99 price tag?Fightingfan

I'll be picking this one up since I'm playing the 2nd one right now and am liking it. From what I can tell from people on here the 1st is a lot better, so I'm looking forward to it. Though quick question, does the psn store charge sales tax? I'm just asking since I'll be using a psn card and would like to just be able to get a $20 card, but chances are there'll be sales tax to ruin my plan.

With the list of games coming out this holiday season, I'm probably not even going to consider this.

On top of that its digital only. Would take forever for me to dl.

It can't be 18GB, the game came on one DVD, so 8.5GB max. At amazon, the download size is 5570MB.

For twenty bucks I might give it a try. Looks a whole lot better to me than Crysis 2. Won't be buying it anytime soon though - between Dead Island, Rage, Skyrim and the Silent Hill HD collection, plus my backlog, I'm all booked up for quite a while.

Unfortunately there is sales tax on the PSN store. I wish we just got charged tax on buying the card, that way it doesn't screw things up when it comes time to downloading things (I'm always left with just a few pennies, which is useless and makes me need to buy another card). C'est la vie, I suppose.

I'm curious to see what the fuss is about, but I'm pretty well booked with all the games coming out between now and early next year. I'll probably pass. I heard besides the graphics, the game itself is pretty bland.

true, but with all the other games coming out i'd rather not have money sitting around, though it may be a good time to pick up gravity crash.

im only interested out of morbid curiosity. i know how crysis 1 looks running on my pc, i wonder how it'll look on my ps3. also i'm wondering what all they nerfed to get it to run.

I'd much rather have the game in my hands.

I'll probably get it just for trophies. Other than that meh. Played it better 4 years ago.
