whats it like being exposed to all the british mannerisms in Cod 4 and 6, and to british television shows and stars? im curious about how the british are percieved across the pond, and in other countries.

C.O.D is the only main stream game off the top of my head, that has british characters. but in televesionI understand the office and spooks, to name a feware also shown in america (on bbc america?)

so what are the opinions you guys have formed? we like to crawl around in gillie suits and call each other "mate"? (the last part isnt so untrue) i have to admit i was kind of confused by the "OO-wah" that the marines grunt after being given orders.(i played COD 6 before 4)

I love British folk. My best friend is British. I don't look at you guys any different than I do Americans... the only difference is the accent and a few words, lol.

How i view british people? well there normal people with just a ab-normal way of speaking. Most americans think though, there people who have bad teeth. worship a queen, eat biscuits and drink tea all day.Javieralijandro

I'm used to the "accent" really... I listen to a European radio show all the time. Hearing a Brit talk is just as normal to me as hearing an American with a southern accent talk - they sound different, but I still get what they're saying.

I also like your guys' movies, lol... and music, of course. Oh and the way you talk is sexy as hell.

I think England should give Northern Ireland back to the Irish. Just putting that out there. Otherwise, I noticed that their teeth arent the best. I like Monty Python though.

I have nothing against British people or anything they do, except that I just couldn't get into the BBC "Office" as much as the American "Office". To me it just felt like the American version sold the jokes a lot better. I will say though that the Vicar of Dibley kicks ***...

thing i notice about british folks is that they seem to know more about american history than the average american.

i will say that your slang is so very confusing to me though. definitly nothing like ours.

I like it ok. I watch a lot of British Mysteries on TV and such. Every time the detective questions someone in their own home they always drink tea. So I started drinking a lot of tea. Its good stuff. And everyone forgets that one of the most popular heroes in American cinema is James Bond. We got knock offs like Jack Bauer, and Jason Bourne. Why do all secret agents have to have the same initials as Bond? Way to be original.

Well call of duty has shown me that anyone that has price as a lastname is not to be **** with.

I guess the British are ok. I usually have a hard time with them on LIVE when i play online...the ones i have played are very aggressive and rude (especially in racing games like Grid and Dirt 2. ) When i meet them in real life, they seem friendly enough, but they tend to drink too much. When i was recently in Thailand, the British tourists were always very drunk,very loud, aggressive and seemed to be the ones causing fights and trouble. But that is just my experience with them.

I know a guy from England that is half-insane, but I try not to let that get in the way of my judgement :P I think it's a bit hard to understand the accent online, but if I was face to face with them and could read their lips too it probably wouldn't be as bad.

A couple of my best internet friends are British. I look at them just like Americans. They seem to be more humorous, but my sample size of 2 people may be giving me the wrong impression :D
