So are you an angry gamer?

Online, I swear all the time... lol. I rarely ever swear in real life, but when I get put online I get frustrated VERY easily. For example, when I die and I don't like it, I end up going like "How the **** did that ****ing happen? **** (*^*&^@#(!)" or something.

So are you an angry gamer?

When playing MP i get pissed off all the time when something uncalled for happens (like getting fragged from a mile away, glitches, emptying a whole clip into a guys body/head and then he kills you with a few shots, etc.) i always tell myself to cool it because it hurts my performance and makes me even more angry :lol: so yea, i can be an angry gamer... but that side of me is practically exclusive to on-line play.

I used to be... I broke my first SIXASSES because of a cheap CoD4 kill, but ever since I started listening to Enya while I play, I've found myself to be less agitated.

Instead of throwing the controller down, I interpretively dance my way to my PS3 and just calmly shut it off.

I'm not...but mah friend broke the wall of his house with the controller...dont ask me how...I just saw the controller stuck on the wall

i have to lock my self away from other people in my house when i get on sf4, so.. yes. i would say i am lol. it's only 2d fighters for somereason tho.

I am embarrassed to say that from the days of the original Playstation up to today I have probably gone through several hundreds of dollars worth of controllers.

Because i know from personal experience and witnessing other people. That fighting games, make you mad.... No matter how placid the person is, if your playing a fighting game, and keep getting beaten, over, and over, and over. You will end up throwing that conrtoller. I dont know why, i dont get mad in any other game. But games like Fight Night Round 4, Street Fighter 4, tekken and things like that, they just make me mad when i lose.

what makes me mad when I get killed or knocked over in games is the fact that I can't move or do anything

Sometimes...but when I do get mad it's always directed at myself. Example, If I'm playing COD4 online and I get killed or I let a flag get taken I feel as though I'm a dam good enough player that it shouldn't have happened. Unlike some angry gamers who like to put the blame on their teammates or accuse the other team of cheating.

Angry gamer is an understatement. I could have bought a second PS3 with the money I've had to spend on new controllers. I discovered that I only get extremely angry while playing online. Since then, I've kind of stayed away from playing online. I may just stick to single player games

I hated how that entire fight revolved around whether or not he would use the fireballs or not. It was irritating how I'd hit him twice one match and then die from fireballs, and then the next match I'd barely take any damage because he didn't use them.

I am so happy to see that me and my girlfriend are not the only ones who share the same frustrations about Jinpachi and his stupid gaping chest of teeth and death.

Seriously, it was worse than shao khans shoulder charge move, and thatwas bad enough.

I do, even when I doing single player offline. It's a issue of self control.

only online or on a dumb part of a story where u keep dying or cant get past.

I sometimes ended up cussing while playing games if I keep on dying. Mainly on SP though like recently I was playing Prince of Persia on PS3 and I kept on screwing up on one of the sections and had to start all over at the last platform I was on and just kept on cussing and stuff until my friend told to me to shut the hell up or he would leave.

Strangely I don't get mad while playing online. I mean if I die because of lag or something I might get annoyed but If I am dying because I suck or the other team is better than I just don't care.

i can be.. if something stupid happens in a game il throw a wtf out there or if im losing on pro evo.. ive only ever broken one controller out of anger, the other one i accidently stepped on.

Like some others have mentioned, playing fighting games online will bring out the worst in you. I could do terrible in a handful of matches on Killzone 2 and not even bat an eyelash, but if I lose a few times in a row on Street Fighter 4 I'll be spitting acid.

I bottle it all inside though. I've never screamed at a game or smashed a controller in a fit of rage. (love seeing people like that on youtube, though. :p)
