The European update included a lot of great stuff this month, specifically the instant game collection. Is Sony going to do anything for the US this month in the instant game collection other than NBA Jam? Or have they not released any information?

NA and EU add at least 3 PS3/PSN games per month, usually more. NA updates and announces games weekly. Keep an eye on the PS+ section of the Playstation Blog. PS+ games are usually announced on Monday. Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and Chronovolt are expiring next week, so expect 1 PS3/PSN game and 1 Vita game.

Thank you very much for your help. I just got my PS3 so I haven't ever paid attention to the trends of when it is updated.

We will see more of US PS+ updates, when you look at the EU PS+ they announce their games fully for the whole month, the NA/US on weekly update basics. There is much more to come in January.

Excellent! Though to be fair I am having a blast with NBA Jam. I like the selection to be honest. For the price, I think the offering is quite fair.

I do agree, I have had PS+ since the beginning and I always found few games worth the subscription, not to mention - Cloud Save is god sent. I personally believe that feature should be available to every PlayStation 3 gamer and not just the Plus members.

Here's few things you should know. Even if you don't have a Vita, it's a good idea to "purchase" the free games. If you get one in the future, you'll have a library of games ready for you. Two, a lot of people think that the free-to-play games are no longer playable when they leave the collection. They are playable as long as you're subscribed to PS+.

Buying the Vita games just in case is a great idea. My question is, do I lose all of my cloud saves if I lose PS+?

I don't believe you lose them, however you can't access them without PS+ membership. Once you re-subscribe they should be available again.

Alright that is good news. I dont even intend on getting rid of my subscription anyway, was just curious what would happened if I accidently let it slip.
