So, Doom or Uncharted?

Which should I pick up first?

Only you can answer that...what you like more? 3rd person Action-Adventure or FPS? it's up to you.

*Update*: Didn't played DOOM yet, but Uncharted is amazing!!!

I have this dilemma also. Literally haven't been bothered about any games so far this year, then two of my most anticipated come along at once. Think I'm going to go for DOOM first and pickup uncharted when the price drops as I'm not interested in the MP

Depends, on if you want a lot of walking around laced with some minor action here and there, or if you want in your face action from the start? Uncharted has the better story, but it will take you 11+ chapters for the game to start being really interesting if you ask me. Before that it's just some boring fetch quests and a lot of walking around, and climbing getting from point a to point b. Doom however is action from the very first level. Did you really like Uncharted 3? If so then Uncharted 4 is probably the game you should play first. If you found Uncharted 3 to be a little um...drawn out then go with Doom first. Either way I'd say check out both games at some point.

I got UC4 first, I was in no hurry to get Doom, will get it later on.

I had to get both. Tough to decide but cant compare the two games. Uncharted has amazing graphics and story. Doom is just a classic and I had to get it. Reminds me of the older quake games.

I also have both games, how are you doing mate

If you have played previous Uncharted games, I would recommend Uncharted 4 otherwise it's up to you really.

Just played doom for my first time...such a two different games, can't answer that...it's like asking what is better summer or winter? only you can answer that.

Haven't played Doom yet, but so far Uncharted 4 is amazing. I'm at chapter 16 and I thought the story was pretty good from the very beginning. Don't know which you should try first, but Uncharted 4 should definitely be played, it's great.

I'm an oldschool Doom fan and even I know Uncharted 4 is the better buy.

I've been a gamer since my youth in the 80's. Loved Doom the first time I played it on the SNES. Great series, but gotta go the Uncharted route. Fly through the remastered versions of Uncharted 1 - 3 and then pick up Uncharted 4. That is one giant adventure w/ incredible gameplay.

Finished Uncharted 4 last night, gave it a 97 in my campaign review.

I got both, and I suggest Uncharted by miiiiiles.

I love the new Doom game a lot. Uncharted 4 is great too, but if you're a bigger FPS fan than Action/Adventure fan, I'd recommend getting Doom first because I think it's one of the best FPS games to come out in years.

I think like others said - it depends on what you are in the mood for; the games are so different. Personally I'm too backlogged to get either right now and that makes me sad. But both are must-buys alongside Total War: Warhammer for me this year :-)

i've got both. doom is a great throwback to the old school fast paced type shooters arriving at a time when we're not exactly inundated with new quality fps. it's definitely worth picking up. but uncharted 4 is just on another level. it's one of those special games that come along only a handful of times a generation. unless you're gagging for a shooter the answer is, without question, uncharted

Depends what kind of genre do you prefer,I´d go for DOOM easily.
