If you never played it I recommend you do. Dont let reviews or whatever ruin it for you. Could of been a better port? Of course it could of been but it's not all that badÂ
[QUOTE="PaintballinDude"]I dont want to get it because it lacks mic support, besides that its suppose to be fun.Chronic2007
It lacks mic support? That is just sad for PS3 owners. I guess you get what you pay for.
What's so funny? Anyway, to the topic creator, I bought the game and the major issues I have with it is the frame rate and mic support. Other then that the game is entertaining, but I'm still trading it once I finish it. I already have the 360 version which is only slightly better.

It's funny because for a game that need team support you have no way to communicate with them. This is not the first PS3 game without mic support so yes it is funny to me.

So Chronic, who's fault is it that there is no mic support, sony's or the developer..???

I don't know and don't care whose fault it is. Why do all 360 games have voice support since the first xbox? Maybe if Sony could make these things a standard but maybe since they leave it to the developers they cannot. It's still ammusing to me that you guys always seem to get the dirty end of the stick and are happy about it.

yeah the dirty end of the stick like final fantasy, metal gear solid, gran turismo, jak and daxter, ratchet and clank? yup thats totally the bad end of the deal, i wish i could trade all of those for halo and.....ummmmm....halo2? no wait halo 3? hmmm no wait, maybe halo wars. theres just too many to decide!/sarcasmI think that Sony and the game developers should be ashamed with this game version for the PS3.
I bought the game and i was disappointed, the graphics and the animation is very bad.
I had games in the PS2 that looked better, what are they thinking about ???? the game should not be released like that !!!!
In the 360 the graphics i very good and the game is much more fun and scary
I hope that they will not screw it up if the other games like RAINBOW SIX vegas, ghost recon ...

Since you don't know, I find that rather funny that you are laughing at something you don't know about. Now in response to your comment about the dirty end of the stick.... no one is happy about the short coming, but we all have a choice to move on or deal with it. But of coures there are people like you who sit around making an issue like this bigger than it is. Since you bought up MS, don't you think that early adopters of the 360 got short changed because of the release of the Elite?? I think a that holds alot more weight then mic support.
And then there are people like you who think Sony can do no wrong and white wash every problem ps3 has in hopes nobody will notice just how lacking this machine really is. If you want full featured online third party multiplatform games, stick with the 360. If you want second best, including lack of what should be considered STANDARD features by now, then get the PS3 version.
By the way, i own a ps3 also....

You own a ps3 also...??? No you don't...stop lying, you had to think about something to say to justify your monkey statement. You know what...?? It's silly people like you who don't realize Sony or Microsoft don't care about us, all they care about is our money. They like to see the misinformed consumer fight over which system is better becuase that's what helps drive sales. I do have both system(UNLIKE YOUR SELF) and love the compition not the war, because the system war was created by people who don't have a life and had to justify thier purchase.

while i agree it should be standard, its the developers fault. it seems sony doesnt like telling its developers what to do.
and as for him thinking sony can do no wrong, im pretty sure he knows, and we all know that it isnt true. same goes for MS, faulty systems. mines broke twice and seems on the verge of another breakdown, like half of my friendlist has had problems or had to send theirs back. the mics are horrible, 3 have broke on me, and then you get problems like echoing and the static that can get really annoying especially if the moron doesnt listen when you tell him his mic is f-in up.Â
and the elite, while thats debatable whether we are getting screwed over or not, i feel like i am b/c i would have gotten that over the premium. and the fact that i'll only get about $250 when selling to gamestop i'll have to pay over $200. when we all know that MS sells the 20gb hdd for $100, so that means the 360 is $300, i should at least get $280-300 back.  i know that isnt MS's fault but they coulda worked with gamestop and got a better deal for its customers.Â
and lastly, there has been lag in pretty much every game i've played, either noticable or just plain aweful. on PS3 i rarely get any lag, and if i do its just a minor jump.  to say that PS3 owners are getting what they paid for is just plain stupid it makes no sense seeing as how we paid for the most expensive console. Yes, sony needs to catch up with online and games, but MS is playing catch up as well, otherwise there would be no elite, and you can't argue that fact.Â

How did I take it off topic? All i said it's sad that it has no voice support then you with your rants start comparing it to the Xbox Elite and all sorts of things. You could have simply left it at that.

Dude, I suggest you take a break, go outside and get some fresh air...socialize with some REAL people it's lovely outside. That's what I'm about to do. Have a nice day and no hard feelings.:)
ok honestly bro, F.E.A.R for PS3 isnt as bad as people or reviews say, but yea it doesnt have mic support, online only 16 players, but if u havent played it its fun, i have it for PC and PS3, and the PC is alot better graphics, and all, i mean hey its aport to the ps3, but its definetly worth it if u havent played it before, i do recomend it if u havent played it yet.

I have the PC version and the game is loads of fun, online and single player. Just go with what YOU want, don't listen to anyone on here, they all have their own opinions, use yours. Play the games that you want to play, not because someone else said it's good.I never play a PC or X360 version of this game, and I was kinda looking forward to purchase this game

That was completely uncalled for, especially from a PC fan, since NOTHING is standard on PC.
I hope you enjoy your ban.
Some people are just too up tight about everything. Ban over something like that?
I've never played the other versions of F.E.A.R. I have for the PS3 and so far I think it's very good. The graphics are ok. The game is very creepy man get it.Mcortijo01
