They aren't noticeable, the whole issue has died down quite a bit now that people who actually own 3000s are on forums saying how much they love the screen. there is less ghosting, and there are scan lines if you hold your psp 2 inches from your face and search for them. It's a good thing the PSP has games though, searching for scanlines sounds like a boring hobby to me.

I picked up the R&C bundle and I have to be honest with you, the only thing I notice is how $%&$ing AMAZING everything looks. Great system man just get it. I suspect the people writing most of the negative comments are the people that are P'd off because they either just recently purchased the 2000 or hate sony.

Eurogamer says they can't imagine going back to the 2000 after playing the 3000. what now? Eurogamer isn't credible, but IGN is? i'll just assume you'll ignore my post.
I went from a 1001 to a 3001. Yes I see the scan lines but they are a non-issue to me. And after playing with the 3000 for a while going back to the 1000 is awful. I can see the lagging or ghosting in the 1000's screen so much more now after using the wonderful screen on the 3000.
They aren't that bad. You only really notice them if you are looking for them. This is coming from an owner of the 3000. Upgraded from a 2000 day one and I'm not regretting it.
