So how come nobody is excited for Puppeteer?

I mean it looks like it was well received by critics and looks like a good exclusive platformer that I may pick up to add into my library, but the question remains, Why does nobody care about it? Just thought there may at least a little hype XD

Honestly, I had no idea the game existed.

Too busy with GTA 5.

I bought it day one. It is a amazing game.....so weird. Playing it is like having a LSD trip.

Probably the poor timing of it you know with gta5. I got it from gamefly the day after I got gta5 and have yet to play it.caketoo

Do a fellow gamer a solid and send that Puppeteer back. You know you're going to be way too busy with GTA5, especially when the online conponent is released. Puppeteer was number 1 on myQ but my mail-timing wasn't quite right and I got sent a different game.

OP, unfortunately Puppeteer was released at a bad time, people are either saving for next-gen and Holiday releases or wrapped up in the GTA excitement and a cute, little ole platformer is going to have a hard time getting noticed, especially a new IP. I've wanted to get my hands on it the first time I saw it but I scour most gaming sites daily for stuff and "we" that do that are in the minority. Once things die down you'll find that those that play it will remeber it fondly like Flower.

Been on my radar for awhile. I'll get it eventually. Would have been a day one purchase for me, if it were less dark (wanted to play with my kids).

I was excited for it, then I played it... I bought it instead of GTA because I'm a massive platformer fan, but Puppeteer is rather disappointing so far. I applaud it for its fantastic creativity and visual design, but the level design and gameplay leaves a lot to be desired. It all feels rather sloppy. Bare in mind, that I'm only about half way through though. Things could pick up later on. However, I found Rayman Legends to be the superior platformer in pretty much every single way.

P.S. I will say that Puppeteer's bosses are quite fantastic when they're not reduced to QTEs.

I have the game and strangely I haven't finished it. I'm actually scared to finish it. I thought it was going to be light-hearted and colorful. It is colorful but after finishing Act 3 I have no idea how this story will end or play out. I can only play it under specific conditions, nighttime, 3D ready, full stomach. The music is amazing, I just sit there and listen sometimes to the Act select screen.

I think the game looks amazing. I'm defnitely getting it in the near future. I love platformers, and the Puppeteer has been on my radar for awhile.

It's because Sony has released it at the wrong time especially when Kingdom Hearts came out the same week which already has a big fanbase then you have GTA V.  I did pick up the Puppeteer and it's fantastic personally I think the game looks stunning, the music is awesome and the voice acting is good.  I really think the game has some interesting ideas and I'm glad Sony take risks and release something a little different all the time it's just a shame that Sony hasn't advertised it properly and that it's always came out at a bad time.

I'm interested in the game, but I think like a lot of other people pointed out, GTA5 is absorbing a lot of attention right now.  And also, there's a new console gen on the way, so a lot of gamers are probably trying to prepare for that.  Not to mention that big year-end cluster of Holidays are coming up soon, so people need to start saving money for lots of stuff.

I will make it a point to get Puppeteer at some point, but maybe not til sometime next year.

Im LOVING Puppeteer!

The best 30 euros i´ve spent this year.

Its so bizarre the way the game happens in a puppet theater with the background changing constantly (at the start its even hard to keep pace with it, then you get used to it).

The soundtrack is one of the best i´ve found in a game, each level has the perfect suited background music.

I´ve only played half of it, and it keeps surprising me with things like musical levels. There is also many secrets in each level to be found.

Also funny is the audience reactions  to the cutscenes and some things you do, they will clap, boo or ahh.

There is a lot of love put in that game by the devs. Its not a GOTY, but im sure they are very proud of the game they created.

Just so its out there, the 3D is some of the best I've ever seen. No ghosting at all either.

I wanted to enjoy the game, but I tried the demo and my nav controller was never recognised and it's really difficult and annoying to use the left side of a controller

When I first heard, and read about this game I thought no friggin way would I play that. However, after watching some game play video and reading the thoughts of others I am definantly going to pick this up...but...not for several months.....Final Fantasy 14, GTA5, Madden taking up all my game time.
