Don't worry even if you had broadband, it would just get boring after a wwek or so.

Oh so that explains the people still playing.. all the way back to Warhawk being a beta.

And the people playing since launch.

Hmm guess everyone gets bored after a week.

I see a disturbing trend in console gaming as of this generation. I, like the poster above, enjoy having friends over to play split screen games with friends. What I see with the new games is the lack of support for this. I was looking at the boxes on new games the other day and found that the following games are multiplayer only if you play online:

Warhawk

Medal of Honor Airborne

Command and Conquer 3

Battle for middle earth 2

Nascar 08

I know there were others, but I cannot remember their names. The point is, once online support is dropped for the game (or no one plays online anymore) the game is worthless to me. I never play through campaigns or anything. I go straight to multiplayer. Companies drop support for these games as soon as possible on console it seems (EA) and without split screen play, its over.

I have broadband at home as do my friends and relatives, but rarely do any of them play online. When we do, it is usually a PC game. Bring back the split screen I say!!!

I think they do it so they can Patch the game, even for if you play it Split Screen or LAN offline>>>>

Its THEIR Way or the HIghWay!

Peace out!

This coming from a person with 1 ps3 game in their reviews. I doubt you even own one.
