okay so I'm getting a PS3 for christmas and I wanted to know some peoples opinions. I picked the game I wanted for it just last night because it didnt come with one, and I picked Little Big Planet.

Are there other good ones I should've considered?

Depends on the type of games you like, my first game is Dead Space and it is awesome.

LBP sounds like a good choice, though i do not have it. Other games worth getting are: Dead space or Metal Gear solid 4.

Yeah I was gonna get Mgs4 sometime after christmas, although I'm gonna get MK VS DCU soon, so I might be busy for awhle with two games...

I would go with MGS 4, that game is just too good not to play. But if you are just going to have one game for a while, I would say go with Fallout 3. The game is amazing and is fun and the story is goos. It will last you a long time, you can easily play the game over 100+ hours and it will not get repetitive.
