it was all they had! eh im not too mad i love this thing too much. it wasnt long after after getting a ps2 that i no longer played ps games. maybe they'll eventually offer them in the Store like they do ps games

I hate bashing sony but leaving out Backwards Compatability was the worst thing they've done with the PS3.bobbyD213

It was only on the 40GB. There is Backwards compatibility on every other model. The 80GB will be coming back out soon, and will have BC.

40g= no BC at all

60g= almost 100% BC

80g= about 80% BC

What are you talking about there has always been an option to buy a console with BC...ALWAYS...

Now if your country does not provide that particular model that has BC then you should not really blame Sony, but your countries demand for the product... just like if I was to go to another country and try to get some Mcdonalds... I am sure there would be some things that are not on the other countries menu but are on the American menu...
