So i was a 360 fanyboy up until my 360 broke for the 4th time a week ago. Im getting a ps3 sometime by the end of this week. And i was just wondering what the differences are between the $400 ps3 and the $500 ps3. I know about the bigger hard drive but is that really going to affect how i play or what i play? thanks for any info

yea...the main changes i believe are Harddrive space, Loss of Ps2 BC, 2 usb ports instead of 4, and MAYBE(not really sure) less of multimedia card readers...not really sure about that though...

Wrong. The 40gb plays PS1 games.
