So IGN's Bayonetta Review is up and I am not Happy

Not because the game is bad or something but the PS3 version is still the worst one to play. I mean we are like into the third year of PS3 and Sega still makes this huge blunder? I mean if they can do games like Valkyria Chronicles then why on earth they would do something like this..and i was almost about to preorder the game. (or maybe i am making this a big deal)...

it's a bad port , but hey the game is still playable , you should try the demo .

Sega has done better before but always lagged a little behind on PS3. I knew the problems exist from the demo. It's still a good game. Hope they get better on PS3. I wasn't going to get this game even if it was a better version.

True..but considering the fact that majority of the multiplatform games play and look pretty much the same is becoming a norm in the industry and here comes Sega, shattering the whole point and these incidents only spark more fanboy wars...

Dont just blame Sega,Platinum Games gave Sega the job to port it, instead of building both versions simultaneously. Also, it cant be worst then EA's port of the Orange Boxmarcl18123

The game shouldn't so bad that you can't play it, its just not as polished as the 360 version. I played the demo and it wasn't bad at all. I'd have absolutely no problem buying the game for PS3 if that was all I had.

from what I understand, the developers were having trouble porting it to the PS3 so they handed it over to Sega (the publisher) to fix.

Like most are saying, it's not a big deal.I blame Sega for the bad port, though, not Platinum.

This x infinity.

Sega's role in this affair is a double edged sword, though. If not for them, Bayonetta would be a 360 exclusive, but again, if not for them, the port wouldn't have been so bad in comparison.

Good thing I never sold my 360. Might have to dust it off and get the Xbox version for this game.

They better patch it up by the time it arrives in the PAL territories. The Developer had problems porting it to the PS3? that's just total BS. they were probably just lazy or something. i've never heard of any other developer having this problem.

That was rumor. Sony itself never gave any confirmation on this. I understand why Sega did bad on porting since all their ps3 games developed by their developer from start to finish unlike Bayonetta, they need to study and learn all the code and whatnot from Platinum's documentation before porting, not to mention each developer has their own development habit It could have been better if Sega and Platinum planned to make it multiplat from beginning.

I could care less, I really enjoyed the ps3 demo so I put my preorder in. Happy Gaming!

I'll keep my judgement of PS3 version when I actually pick up the copy and play it.

I absolutely loved Japanese Demo and saw nothing wrong with it. Of course it's a demo, however reading IGN's review raised quite a few susceptible questions on my part. For one I hardly believe the game frame rates become almost unplayable or even some other comments which don't make to much sense to me at all.

Whichever the truth I'm going to judge the game on my own. I have a good feeling the port issue's are being blown out of proportion for specific reasons.

well..it's not that people are hyping the game but it is a really fun game..i mean i had a lot of fun playing the demo but since i started reading the reviews..i just don't like the fact that devs and equal looking multiplat games..

I think that VC is developed and published by Sega but its by Sega of Japan i think. And besides if Sega wanted the game to be on PS3 then they should have ported the game right...we deserve a better product for our money...and publishers should respect the hard work of devs.
