So I'm really interested in buying a PS3...

I'm really interested in buying a PS3, but I don't know if I should wait or get one now. I really want Resistance: FoM, but apart from that there aren't any games out on it at the minute that grip me.

 So I was wondering if there are any games I might have overlooked. Preferably I'd like an RPG that will keep me playing for quite a while. Is there any out there?

I hate to sound really sarcastic, but dude...ever heard of that little game called oblivion? It got a 9.6....i'd look into if you're looking for a looooong rpg. I, on the other hand, am looking to get a ps3 for the blu-ray dvd capabilities.  

Hey man, here's a few reasons:

1) you get a blu-ray player. Blu-ray has got contracts with every major motion picture distributer except for Universal Pictures (what have they made since King Kong?) to go Blu-Ray and soon Blu-Ray exclusive. It's the best picture, sound and it's winning the DVD wars.

2) R:FOM is pretty much on par with Halo, maybe better. So that's a good choice. As for other games, you get Motorstorm and F1 CE, two great exclusives that have risen the bar for the racing genre, and if you're up for fighting you get VF5 (still exclusive for a while) and for downloadalbes, you get flOw, Lemmings, Blast Factor and soon Calling All Cars which is getting positive reviews in media hands-on sources.

3) PS3 has the best lineup for 2007. Lair, Heavenly Sword, MGS4, NG:Sigma, GTA4, Killzone 2 (Maybe), Ratchet and Clank Future, RE5, FFXIII (maybe)....heck the list goes on and on man.

So there, that's why it's a worthy investment.
