The sixaxis control isnt well done, the graphics/frame rate sucks i think its just not well made like hte 2k7 series. Go get a review of this game and read it, itll help.
The gameplay is just straight up poor. I don't really know any other way to explain it. If you can, download the demo and try it out for yourself and I'm sure you'll agree.
Its probably because most haven't even bought the game :P and are just taking references from the reviewers. Maybe you should try renting it when you buy your ps3 :)

i did play the demo and i liked the gameplay but i just wanted to know if there were any major glitches and if i could edit players
If u like it Buy it... DOnt listen to the Other People they dont Know wat u Like so just go ahead and u cant edit players and there arent that many glitches , but if u like Basketball games i think u should get 2K7 cuz of its Better gameplay ....But just go ahead of wat u like .
Well if you liked the gameplay then you'll probably like the game. I don't have it because I liked the gameplay of 2k7 better personally. I haven't played the full version so I have no idea about glitches or editing players.
The graphics in NBA 07 are good but the characters look like the hardwood with that stupid glossy shine, and there is no defence in the game really if you hit the green spot on the shot meter it automatically goes in unless you get blocked that alone makes it feel like half a game, although they do have some extras like the All Star weekend, but the game is really not that good, 2K7 is a much better b-ball game.
You can't edit players or teams other then downloading updated rosters off the internet. As they have stated above the gameplay sucks. I got it to play online with a friend who also got the game and both of us have found that its almost impossible to play defense. If your on rookie you can make 3 point shot after 3 point shot with ease. There are dozens of times where you will see a foul and it wont be called and times when you will hear the announcer call a foul when there wasn't one. The one cool thing the game does have is a feature called Games of the Week in which they take higlights from previous games and you reeanact like 2 minutes of a game with objectives such as make 2 dunks, 2 asssists and 2 blocks with a player. If the gameplay was improved it would be a great game. It is the only basketball game I have right now for my PS3. I am probably going to get the NCAA game soon tho.
