So is there going to be a Kingdom Hearts 3?

It's been quite some time since I played the 1st and 2nd Kingdom Hearts and I must say, i miss those games greatly. I don't remember exactly how the 2nd one ended but I seem to remember it being open for a 3rd one. So are they making one now? I don't see why they wouldn't continue such a great series. It seems that good game series never get continued as much as mediocre game series like Call of Duty and Guitar Hero.

I hope there will be, otherwise I won't have any reason to go buy a PS3.

The secret ending to Kingdom Hearts 2 was for the Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep game for the PSP which is already out in Japan and coming to US very soon. No hint of KH3 has been announced yet. However birth by sleep had a secret ending but it didn't seem to give any hint to it being for KH3 more so than it was just a continuation to the normal ending. The KH dev team is currently working on FF Versus XIII. There probably will be a KH3 though simply because it has a huge fanbase.

The KH franchise is strong. All current games are selling well. A PS3 release is inevitable.

I really want it! but I agree, the story might become weirder and weirder as the series goes on -__-
