what s up with all these is it worth it to buy it threads? Uncharted is a great game, PERIOD. Now if you want to buy it that is an entirely different subject.
I love the fist fights in UDF, the game is entirely action packed. Have you ever imagined the adventures of your favorite action figure? THATS UNCHARTED. that GOOD.
A classic is a classic, its hell worth getting it. And Uncharted is one of the story heavy game, so if you play 2 before 1, you might not get the full experience.
It's not worth buying imo. Yeah it's a amazing game, graphics, gameplay, story, it's all great. But imo it's not the best for replay value. Unless you are a collector I say just rent it.
d e f i n i t e l y! i envy the person who will play it for the first time! and the sequel should not be out for quite a long time! it is not even featured in the stores' release schedule yet!
Deffinetly get Uncharted, my favorite game for the PS3 so far. Plus, the second game is going to come out within the upcoming months so it will be nice to be introduced to some of the characters.
If nothing else, you should at the least rent Uncharted 1. It will probably offer you some backstory and insight to the characters and story that you will probably miss if you just play part 2. Besides, there will be PLENTY of time to kill before Uncharted 2 is released. Seeing as how it was just announced, I can't imagine it seeing the light of day until near the end of 2009, or more likely, sometime in 2010.
I think the question should be why haven't you bought it yet. It's one of the top 5 games for PS3 imo. I still play through it from time to time. It's one of those games you can play through numerous times and still enjoy it every time.
