yeah it's one of the few games that actually put the sixaxis to good useethanpaige
I rather thought so myself. I have to agree that the story gets off to a rather slow start, though. It is way, way, way more interesting as you get into it though.
Seriously, though, it kinda has that Pokemon, "gotta catch 'em all" feel to it where you (or at least "I") got really drawn in by catching and powering up my favorite monsters. Repeating the same chapters grew old, so I can see the 7/10 score for that, but at the same time, the two opposing sides to the same story was an interesting idea. Good game all aroudn, but once again, I think it got the score it deserved (eg: "good". It had enough flaws to keep it from being "great" or "perfect", but was certainly worth both my time and money none the less. Now the DL content is another story...........)
I just got this game today, saw Gamespot gave it a 7 so I was skeptical about getting it, but I went through with it. I have to say this game has one of the most interesting and fun combat systems I've seen lately, beautiful art design, and what seems so far to be an interesting story. Anyone else played and enjoyed this game?ethanpaigeI liked it alot. The game has a dar fairy tale feel to it. The art is fantastic and hte worlds are truly unique and fun to run thorugh. There are so many strange creatures in the game. It's always throwing something new at you. The game is quite innovative. Good for 30 hours of solid entertainment and yes. The story is very good. So are the characters...and hte music
Good to hear, I bought it brand new sealed at the store for $15 but was still on the fence about it.Needles-Kane
Where on earth did you find it for that price??? I would buy it in a heartbeat for that. I was extremely pleased that The Darkness even came down to $19.99

Yeah, Folklore is a masterpeice of a game. I had my two friends play it and they didnt like it. I think the reading turned them off, some people are lazy I guess. One of my friends said it had a bad story, which is total bull.
Yeah this game is pretty good. The only thing that is on the low end are the sidequests which are rather dumb, but the characters all have different dialogue so it gave them a good personality. The create your own level thing was ok, and the more points you earn the more you can put. If they would have had DLC for that kind of thing and maybe co op for it, then you would have had superb game. I give it an 8.0, maybe even a bit higher out of 10.
For 15 dollars that is a steal, go buy that now and don't be retarded. No offense.
