What will take for MGS 4 to sell 1 million in one week ofits release, i believe they will surpass one million easy

i think its stupid that the guy said it needs to sell 1 million on the release date... wtf is the difference between selling 1 million in 24 hours or say 72 hours

all that matters is total sale numbers but i strongly believe mgs4 will sell at least 1 million if not more

Uh, on day 1? No. Believe it or not (and I know this entire forum won't) that statement was an archival one. They said it, then tucked it away. If a multi-plat release is announced, they can say: "remember when we said the game needed to surpass 1 million on day 1? Well, it didn't, we need to do this to recoup development costs."

And nobody will be able to say a thing bad about them.
