Sounds to me like the TC wants to keep his b..a...l...l..zzzz in his pants and kick the girl out. Sounds good to me. No person is worth giving up your hobby or way of life if its not hurting anyone. All you kids/engaged couples/married people remember this. Controlling starts with something small like videogames then grows into something far worse.

Well why would she be your girlfriend in the first place? Anyway there are plenty of women in the world, no need to hold on to one like grim death, especially if you have a harmless hobby and she refuses to let you have it. However if she gave this ultimatum because you only play games and you don't talk to her or look at her or anything, well maybe you should look into cutting back on the gaming. There is a whole world out there afterall.

A gamer girl =D. They understand everything you talk about, they know how you feel about gaming, they dont judge you about it, they might even kick your ass in some games!
Also, if i get any girlfriend, i let her know straight up that i like video games, and playing them. Of course half of my free time would go to her, the other half to video gaming. Thats just how it is =)

I'm sure there must be some guy out there somewhere who doesn't view his gf as a pen0r receptacle. You guys don't have all the info and are making hasty judgments. Maybe he was playing so much that he was totally ignoring her, blowing her off, and missing dates that they had set up. Wouldn't you be pissed off if you had made plans with a friend and they left you waiting all by yourself because they blew you off to play some game? Wouldn't you be a little annoyed and perhaps thinking of getting a new gf if she ignored you and always seemed to be preoccupied with something she found more interesting than you? Maybe what she was saying is that if he's just going to continue like that, she's going to leave because she feels unappreciated and neglected. Or maybe this is just a joke post. imo this thread should be locked --- if not for the lack of content in the OP, then for the inappropriateness of many of the responses these kinds of threads elicit.

You should all take this mans advice. You let a woman get control of something little like your gaming habits and next thing you know she will be running your life. Put your foot down early and let them know how it is going to be. If they don't like it they can go find some other sucker to control.
