So my ps3 survived the YLOD...

It's a miracle, man, really.

Before any "you show it was YLOD?" it was, yellow, then blinking red light and all.

surprisingly, it came back to life, and my brother is now playing WaW for the past hour. It happened while i was playing COD4, the game froze and it happened.

we were able to boot it back up (some how) and can now play. Don't know how long this will last, but this really awesome.

(I have the BC 80 gig.)

unlike my 360 who has died 3 times and im giving it one more chance ive had it back since november but one more time and i will be back to sony

Don't go spreading this "YLOD" information to 360 owners. They will only taunt the PS3 console for supposedly losing the one advantage it ever had over its white and green counterpart.

Lol, my COD4 freezes occasionally. I always just shut the whole thing down, then boot back up. Nice job to your system for that though.
