So R U gonna stop coming to Gamespot like me???

After MGS4 is released on June 12, the website is going to be full of spoilers, movies, pics, and topics of MGS4 and since I have stupid Summer school, I wont be able to buy the game before August, so im just gonna avoid gamespot and IGN as much as I can lol... is anyone else gonna do that?

Yeah, I'm not showing up here for two reasons. I'll be drowning in MGS4 play and videos. And I don't want to deal with the crazy modding of game threads that happened during GTAIV. I'll go to the game specific sites for info and game help. Can't wait.

Looks like the thread locking is already in full force. I wonder why they don't let the community decide which threads should be discussed? It seems like GTA IV and MSG4 are big enough games to have separate threads, instead of one massive ADD thread that offers little help for specific game problems/questions.

But the problem begins when everyone who has apparently never used a message board before (or just doesn't care) start posting the same things over and over. How many "GTA4 froze my PS3" threads are we STILL seeing, five weeks after the games release? That stuff is more tedious to dig through than one main thread for conversation.

I suppose debate is pointless. When MGS4 comes out, people are still going to post the first things that pop into their heads, and there'll be thread locking, and people will complain about anything possible to complain about. This forum is nothing if not consistent.

If mgs4 gets less than 9.0 on this site, then yes I will. Its not because I want an AAAe but the fact that this is the one game that truly deserves it; Giving it less because of cutscenes and boss fights actually being a challenge are not bad things and if points are docked for that making it less than 9.0, I will flip gs the bird and move on....There is only so much "beating around the bush" you can take before it becomes old.

edit-I thought you meant like permanently so my mistake. Yup, I will be gone for about a 2wks but I meant what I said above^ :P

I did so as well. I don't plan on getting MGS4 but do recommend everyone to do this before of how awesome the story is

the only time i stop by gamestop or EB is when my gf goes to the mall.. haha
