How come the first 10 minutes I play the ps3 barely makes any noise and the fan doesn't seem to throw any air out then it gets loud and the fan starts to throw alot of air, is this normal ?

Yes, it's normal. It's doing that to keep your system cool while playing a game.

When my PS3 starts running it's fans on high is when I turn her off. Your start to kick in after 10 minutes?? damn thats fast. My don't get loud unless I play her for quite sometime...maybe 4,5 hours.

he might have it in a closed space. you need to put it in place where it can get better ventilation

Its normal. all high end electronics genarate heat. the heat builds up over time thus the fans need to spin faster to coll the system down. Now if your system is getting real loud, like a small hair dryer or a dust buster then its getting to hot. Make sure your system has enough air space around it and is not in a closed in cabinet ect. also dont put your system on carpet.

yes, if its well ventalated and your room/house is cool then the system will not get as hot because its pulling in colder air thus cooling the system better. if your room is hot the air comeing in the system will naturaly be warmer thus the fans will have to speed up to move extra air threw the system. no deffernt than how your body works. if you go for a walk on a hot summer day you will sweat more vs walking on a cool day lol

Ahhh yess I got that in summer here in australia, had no air con running got to about 47c inside the room, was playing LBP for about 2 hours and the ps3 just started sounding like a hair dryer, i continued to play it for 15 more min like that and turned it off let it cool off, but as far as I know your console cant actually kill its self in this situation. It still has the auto cut off when it reaches above a certain range with the fan on max.
