So the PSP played PS1 classics, will the PSVita play PS2 classics?

What do you guys think?

They haven't said anything about it... But I wouldn't be surprised. I'd love to see all sorts of games from PS2. Like Socom 2, the PSV could use a good Socom game and it doesn't look like Zipper will be making a new FTB game (though I hope they do)... Just have to wait and see.

Me thinks Sony would really miss out if they didn't support PS2 classics with the Vita. People have been begging for PS2 games support, the Vita has two analog sticks and is capable of supporting the games (right?), the PS2 has one of the best libraries of video games ever, Sony likes money, and I'm willing to sell my soul to play Psi Ops on the go, what's the problem?

It's most likely gonna be a problem for Sony if they try. Remember the intial PS3's back then, having some parts of the PS2, yet emulation was flawed?tekken220

I doubt it. It would need to be pretty powerful to emulate them.

I sure hope so. There were plenty of great games on that beauty. Hopefully this time it'll allow for wireless multiplayer though. I really wanna play:

• The Bouncer
• FFXII and other FFs (PORTABLE FTW)
• Beat Down
• Shadow Hearts games

Probably not... if we were going to get PS2 classics, I'd assume they'd have shown up on the PS3 by now (besides the remasters).

I doubt they're going to make a PS2 section on the PS Store. It'll be able to play PS2 HD collections I'd guess though. HD collections require extra dev time so I doubt their will be as many as PS1 games.
