So what happened to Grand Turismo?

I remember playing the demo way back and the mini version of the game came out but when is the official game being released? I was really considering buying it.

2010 most likely. There was also a rumour that they might bring out a second Gran Turismo Prologue. :?

I wouldn't call almost 90 cars, full 16 player online, Gran Turismo TV, Customization, 2 player split-screen racing "mini-game" when there is no racing game on console that offer that many cars or realistic simulation of GT level for 39$ (launch price) but when it comes to Gran Turismo level of expectation I agree with you. ;)

However each to their own.

The full game might not come this year (E3 might announce differently) and the latest prediction were late 09' early 2010.
