Before Crisis: Final Fantasy VII
Set shortly before the events of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII. Deals mainly with the rise of AVALANCHE.
Note: This is a cell phone game released only in Japan. You can read translations of the script here, though the project is incomplete.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII
Set seven years before the events of Final Fantasy VII. Deals with the origins of Zack and Sephiroth.

Last Order: Final Fantasy VII
Set five years before the events of Final Fantasy VII. Deals with the Nibelheim incident, which is also covered in Crisis Core.

Final Fantasy VII

The Maiden who Travels the Planet

A short story set half-way through the events of Final Fantasy VII. Deals with Aerith's experiences upon entering the Lifestream.
Note: You can find a fan translation here.

On the Way to a Smile
A novella which takes place between the events of Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. Deals with the lives of Denzel, Tifa and Barret.
Note: Official English translations were included in the North American limited edition box set, but you can find translations of the Denzel and Tifa stories in the link above. The Barret story was exclusive to the box set, so you'll probably have to track it down in order to read it.

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children
Set two years after the events of Final Fantasy VII. Deals with what became of the characters and the world after Meteorfall.

Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII
Set three years after the events of Final Fantasy VII. Deals with Vincent Valentine and a rogue ex-Shinra element called the Deepground SOLDIERs.

Dirge of Cerberus Lost Episode: Final Fantasy VII
A cell phone game set half-way through the events of Dirge of Cerberus

everything in last order i think is already covered in crisis core. so if you've finished crisis core, it doesnt matter when you watch last order.
