So where are the games I want to play?? lol

I'm not posting this as flame bait, I'm really not, I'm really just starting to fear that companies don't think gamers of my type are worth the money anymore :( I bought a ps3 two weeks ago for disgaea 3. I'm 80 hours in and still enjoying myself thoroughly, but decided to look around and see what else might be worth getting, now that I did spend the money on the system... There is not a single other game that looks even remotely appealing to me, lol.

The ps2 was, in my opinion, the best console ever made (and I'm 27, old enough to have had an nes and remember playing cheesy flash calibur games for hours and hours and hours). I had more games that I enjoyed for it than any other system, and I hope, eventually, the ps3 will follow suit. But heck, the only game on the horizon that I am really looking forward to is Persona 4 and thats being released for the PS2! lol

Ah well, maybe I just have to be patient, as most of the niche titles I love so much are still coming out for the ps2. :)

Patience is key.

I see plenty of great games, but everyone has different taste.

I'm also not satisfied with the PS3 library so far. Most games are FPS. I hate FPS.

Of all the PS3 games that are already out, only 5 games appeals me: MGS4, Oblivion, GTA4, Assassin's Creed, and R&C TOD. I just bought my PS3 exactly 2 months ago (July 9) and only have 2 games so far, MGS4 and Oblivion GotY. For the upcoming games, I'm only interested in 3.....Star Wars TFU, NBA 2K9, and Valkyrie Chronicles.

seems like you guys an RPG fans, and at the moment PS3 arent RPG friendly, it seems like gaming console has changed where PS3 becoming FPS games and 360 becoming RPG console, vice versa. but then its a good change,i wouldnt trade my ps3 with any other console just because of its change. im enjoying games wether its FPS or RPG. why dont you guys sell your ps3 if its not your cup of tea and get an xbox 360 instead? i dont get why yall need to cry babies geez.

Well, not me. I like RPGs but only action-RPGs. Turn-based and SRPG are crap and boring. I find it stupid if you can't move around during battles. Hehe.

I'm a sword/bladed weapon action-adventure fan. All consoles only has a few of this kind. I'm not fond of shooters. Only shooters I like are MGS series and GTA series. :)
