well at this time i standing in a massive crowd hoping to get a PS3, lol all because WalMart kicked me out for no reason so i ended up settling for a raffle (made me so mad), well where were you a year ago?
Bestbuy sucked at the release...the people waiting made the effort to make a system to the line but did bestbuy make any order?....no

ya lol it was crazy, i was at walmart on wednesday, the 15th and i was 1st place, and them ******** kicked me and my friends out (saying there was a no camping law) then i learned he started a line for his friend, pissed me off so much.
well, going home after knowing that i wouldn't get a PS3. I stuck around for a raffle taht KROQ made. they gave away 5 PS3's but we didn't get anything, so me and my cousin went home empty handed :( i got mine a day after christmas though.
spending my 2nd night camping out in front of BestBuy in 30 degree weather (California). Not my idea of fun, I don't think I will ever do that again.queenster08
Ah yes. Well, after i found out that Toys R Us was doing last minute preorders, i headed down to my toys r us that friday night October 27th. I wanted to see if anyone started a line and glad there wasnt yet. Headed home and came back the next morning with a pillow, lots of food and drinks, discman, magazines, etc. I arrived around 8:00 Saturday morning and started waiting in my truck. I didnt see anyone until around 7:30pm. I seen a guy driving in circles around the whole parking lot for about 10 minutes and i knew what he was doing. I was just waiting for him to make a move to the front door outside. Sure enough, he parked two cars down from me and after about 5 minutes looking at each other he made the move, lol. So he was first and i was second. No big deal cause they had 5 60Gb and 1 20GB. So all in all 26 hours in 27 degree coldness to get my ps3 and picked it up on the 17th. Which im glad i got there first on the 17th because they didnt get all the ones promised. I think they got only 2 60Gb and 1 20GB. So i was exftremely happy putting my baby in the trunk and driving away to start my ps3 goodness.

That what happened to me i was at fred meyer and lost the raffle then got my PS3 the day after christmas
I wanted to get a ps3 on launch day, but unfortunately I had to go to school, and really it would have been impossible for me to get one anyway as each store only got 8-10 of them, 50 people waiting, at least half of them 2 days before launch, the math is simple. However, I did end up getting one right before christmas on December 15th, so I was really happy with that. Been enjoying it ever since.
exact same, but outside of walmart, and in the snow cuz up here in canada, b4 global warming hit hard, we were freezing! wtf man that is the dummest thing i have ever heard
I was at home playing Rainbow Six laughing at all the people paying thousands for a PS3 on ebay but at the same time wishing I had the money or patience to get my hands on one.
Me? I was sat on Gamespot watching videos of the launch and reading everyones blogs and messages on how good the ps3 is, whilst it was delayed for 4 months.:cry:
after finding out that my town wasnt getting anymore PS3's for a week i was franticly trying to get one of ebay, after 6 and a half hours i got on with RFOM for $1043 CDN (shipping was 200 bucks! F u UPS!)
i was sitting in school on 3 hours of sleepafter waiting for 2+ days at walmart waiting for my ps3. I was so tired that night, i didnt even play it till the next day which was saturday!
where was I? tell you where i was standing at a beach - reading the psm3 mag and most definately and expressly- swearing with the greatest of painat all you guys that could get one - as only available in my part of the world 4 stinking months later!!!!! It was hell! oh, those were dark days...
I simply walked into my local EBgames store and picked up my ps3, which i pre-ordered months earlier. Then i proceeded to try to sell it on Ebay for $3000,LOL, but i could not find anyone stupid enough to buy it, so i opened it a week later.
I was in Hong Kong. And I was really really tempted to pick up one of those $4200 PS3's since they were sold out in the states. I ended up getting a white PSP for like $1750 instead. Those are HK dollars by the way :P
