would it be the rebooted Tomb Raider featuring a young and spunky (although bruised and dirty, but justifiable considering the setting they put her in) Lara Croft, who would still sporting her signature ponytail and agile platforming skills?

OR the rebooted (UEHHH!!) Devil may Cry (DmC), featuring a emo, crack smoking, frail, girly, skinny, gay Twilight Zombie that's high on meth who has the BALLS to slap a lable with the name "Dante" on his rotting head (NOT justifiable, since Dante was NEVER this FRAIL before, even as a kid and as Tony Redgrave.and also HE'S TOO YOUNG TO BE REBOOTED!!!)?

i got my sights set on rebooted Tomb Raider....for obvious readons.

heck,i bet that if these two games were to be launched on the same day, i bet that people would rather pick up a hot chick than some drugged up meth addict.

As much as this pains me to say, Grand Theft Auto Vice City.

I was about 11 when Vice City came out. It is was easily, my most anticipated game of all time. Me, and a pal of mine were both waiting for this game, that only made me want it more, knowing I would be enjoying it with a friend. So, naturally, Gta Vice city is a game I want re-made, or have a new GTA set within the same era (mid 80's) as VC was.

Sure, id love a Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 reboot (not metal gear solid, metal gear!). Vice city did more then providing countless hours of game time, it shaped me into the music I enjoy today. I hate most music that formed after the 80's, Vice City opened up my heart to true music, and easily has the best soundtrack of any game i've ever played.

well, that's nice and all, but please read the topic title carefully. Its asks which of these 2 game reboots would you be looking forward to. not what games would you want rebooted.

though thx for your input anyway.

Oh my, I am very sorry :(. I see these things all the time, and I just... jumped the gun :P. To answer your question, I would rather see the tomb Raider one.

I'm looking forward to DMC. I'm very curious as to how it turns out because I thought DMC4 was great. Dante was absolutely perfect with the on-the-fly style switching allowing for some really amazing combat options. Nero was unique, but fit well within the DMC formula and was really excited to see how he would turn out in his second iteration. Heavenly Sword was a pretty good game with really good production values, story, graphics and voice acting. I'm wondering if they can make a game with the positive aspects of HS while successfully translating DMC's combat.

Lara Croft games are great under Crystal Dynamics' reign.

im torn...

i really dont care as much about dantes appearance (or any mans) for that matter as TC does. HS was a great game imo. Hopefully Ninja Theory can follow suite and do the franchise justice. Besides, they could do a image makeover (ala cole infamous2) to calm you rabid fellas that are so smitten by the guy in red leather and cowboy boots...sheesh.

The original Tomb Raider was what got me back into gaming back in the 90's. Although Id rather see a HD remake of the original, I think Crystal is capable of pulling off a resurrection.

For nostalgias sake, Im going to dance with the girl I came with.

Another +1 for Lara

"Underworld", "Anniversary", and "Legend" are all on my shelf... And the new GameInformer Magazine just arrived with the new Tomb Raider featured on the cover. Looks great!!! Check it out.

Tomb Raider - I'm hoping this whole focus on survival turns out to be a pretty robust system or at least unlike anything we've seen before.
