Yup. You can also use the PS2 component cables if you have some of those, but buying them new is more expensive than a decent HDMI cable, so...

If you have an old PS2 component cable, that'll work too. You can get very cheap HDMI cables including shipping from monoprice.com that work just fine.

If you have Cable, you can call them and ask for a HDMI cable ... they usually charge around 10 or 15 dollars towards your next bill ...

You don't HAVE to buy an HDMI cable to play in HD. You can also buy component cables. :D

Dont buy the hdmi cable at best buy or a major store. They charge like 300% more for it. Online like at newegg.com, I got 3 hdmi cables with so called gold-plating for 6.99 each on sale. I had to laugh at the best buy guy who wanted to sell me a 60 buck hdmi cable for my new digital video camera, what a rip

monoprice.com or bluejeancables.com my favorite places to go to for cables. the brand of cable shouldnt matter unless the cable is like more than 15feet.

in my case on my hdtv (sharp aquos), the system wouldnt allow me to do full hd with the component (man was I mad), so I had to use the 60 elite hdmi cable (had just bought the ps components, lol) for both the x360 and my ps3, until yesterday when I got a new hdmi cable

Yes, you also have to buy a HDTV to play in HD. I can't believe Sony didn't include that with Ps3 too.

If you're buying a cheap HDMI, everything is the same unless the cable is more than 6ft. Don't buy a cheap HDMI that is longer than 6ft, the quality guys down.
