The extra content will be free in 1.6. Like 2 extra factions to chose from and new weapons will be available through the 1.6 patch. But I think the new maps will be available for sale through the PS store.
To me Socom is a game that takes true skill and one that most never master. The ones that do have the game down, trust me they play it non stop and they pull off some james bond kind of sh** lol. To me its the suspense, the community, the communication and the thrill of each and every kill you get that makes Socom a game that keeps your interest. Beleive me I layed it down for about 2 months but I've been back on it now again and once again can't get away from it lol.
Its great I can sit down and have a all day outting with it and then look at the clock and its been 8 hours online with it lol. I've pulled a couple of all dayers when the kids and the wife was out of town quite easily, shhh don't tell her:)
But I will say that its not for everyone, and you just can't sit down with it once to get the true feel of it. Socom takes practice, heck I say its more of a job than a game, but once you start contributing to your team theres no better satisfaction out there and you will start laughing at those cod noobs and tell them totry a real mans game for once :)
Its not about your kills its about doing your duty!!!
