Socom Confronation - auto matching ranked rooms (Poll)

This is a duplication of the poll on Socom.com, so if you are really concerned about it, go there and vote. The devs claim they are listening. They decided to try this because it seems to be the easiest way to prevent rank-ups. Basically, they are throwing thier hands up in surrender LOL Granted its tough to prevent, but I gotta believe they could do better. Unranked games will use the lobby system like always, so you can hook up with your friends there. I personally dont care. I think rank is fine and all, but a) the rank system in Socom has always been screwed up and b) stats IMO negatively affect gameplay. I have always found the gameplay more fun when people are just out there playing instead of worrying about stats. What do you guys think?-ArchAngeL-777-

I don't like auto matching. I wish they would just stick with the old socom lobby.

They stripped what I liked about 3 (Vehicles, large maps, etc) so I don't think I'll be getting it. (Not to mention it looks really bad as of now)Duckman5

Sometimes I like some vehicles and then there are times that I don't need them but still enjoy taking them out with a AT4 or HE grenade. Then there are a few times that I just don't want any vehicles. And from what I understand this game will have some of all these features. It just won't be in all maps.

No. This was shoved down our throats with COD4 and it created more problems than the rank whores could ever do. There's so much miss matching and it makes the game unenjoyable. Especially if you only want to play with your friends. Who really cares about rank anyways? You don't win anything...

Also, I'm against vehicles aswell. Covert Seal squads in hostile territory don't go around bleeping their horns in giant Humvees. It's always on foot, keep it on foot. We all know great that turned out with Socom 3.

I hate auto-matching systems to bits, getting shoved into games hosted on the other side of world, getting shoved back into that game six times in a row after leaving it OMG WTF.

All I want is a listing of the servers/hosts and my ping to those servers/hosts, a little game mode info and some friend inviting system and I don't care if people want to be RANK WHORES, it doesn'thurtme in anyway but it does ruin my fun having to deal with auto-matching.
