Socom: Confrontation..

Recently Slant Six recently realeased a map pack. Anyways apparently Slant 6 made a new booster pack. It costs either 10$or 15$. Anyways that stuff was supposed to be included free. Patch v1.6 was supposed to add some weapons and other things for free. I love how S6 is charging us for stuff that they promised free; thegame is still missing3 or4factions from launch that were supposed to be there. (i.e. teams: the U.K.'sSpecial Air Service (SAS), Germany'sKommando Spezialkräfte (KSK), Spain's Unidad de Operaciones Especiales (UOE), and France's1er Régiment Parachutiste d'Infanterie de Marine (1er RPIMa) ). So what do you guys think?

oh. Didnt know that. Im in the beta and its fun and all but some of the games mechanics need to be worked out. I hope that this doesnt "flop"as badly as Socom : Confrontation. The game is fun and all but man it has problems.

Those things were never meant to be free, as stated on their blog 1.6 would add free things while the dlc would cost money

You gotta get your stuff straight, they released patch 1.6 before the dlc because 1.6 set the game up for the week after when the dlc would be released

so then whats the update with the free weapons and game fixes that still didnt come out yet? I read in many forums and internet articles that it was supposed to be patch v1.60 so i guess every1 else has to get there stuff right as well.

and yeah i dled that only to find that all the new weapons would have to be payed for thus leading to my understandable conclusion of the first post. After that i reasearched it some more only to find out thata new patch with updates and free weapons as well as bug fixes was supposed to be realeased soon but was then changedto TBA.

What are you talking about!?!?? The patch is out, if your playing right now, you have downloaded the patch, nothing is TBA

Alright I see what your saying but let me try to explain. Patch 1.6 which is out did add free weapons and different clan factions but like I said was NEVER and I repeat NEVER going to give free maps or anythign of the sort. As they stated on the blog, patch 1.6 would add many things for free and it would follow with DLC which is the maps and other weapons that you would have to pay for. Conclusion 1.6 did add things but was never going to add maps and they never said they would provide things for free that are now purchasable

Don't bother with Confrontation and get MAG.

Then wait until Zipper makes Socom 4. That's my plan. ;)

I think your hating on the best, most competitive tactical shooter on the market, a game in which I don't think you play. Ranting on a map pack that give you 5 new maps for $15 now, was $10 for the first 3-5 days. When people gladly pay $10 for 3 maps for cod4 which only 2 were playable in MP, and didn't add NO change to play style.

Get off of the hate wagon TC, Socom Nation is alive and well my friend. I've played 7 maps now for over a year. While 15 maps in MW2 got old after 2 weeks of play if I got that much out them. Don't talk about Socom issues, and forget about drop host issues, lag issues, broken game glitches and being able to party up issues in mw2.

Any one know how to Extract captive, the writing at the button of my TV screen I cannot make out the instruction, my son finished all faces now he presses what to do next and a arrow pointing down comes up to extract captive, but can figure out Thank you axr009825

THey said there would be free DLC which there was, some guns and camo. They never said all DLC would be free, also it was $10 the first weekend and is now $15. It is worth it for 5 maps and a few guns and such.wooooode
