Socom Confrontation problems fixed?

i just saw the game today for $15 at blockbuster and thought it was a pretty good price. i know the game has some pretty low scores for technical problems, and i was wondering if anyone knows if they fixed most/any at all. thanks.

Its a much better game than it was a year ago, if you can get it for $15 its a good deal. The dlc that came out around christmas is 15 dollars also so you can add another 5 maps (might be more) to the game.

yup they fixed most of the problems now and they dlc out as well. But out of principle I refuse to play that game anymore because of my hate for slant six. They basically ruined my all time favourite series.

Yep the game plays great I think, still some issues but the game plays great now. The dlc is awesome aswell, night stalker, vigliance, blizzard were all recreated nicely. There is now 12 maps and 2 new added factions aswell as some new weapons and thermal scope. Socom has a great community, but there is things you need to know.

First you definitly need a headset, hate for you to get voted out just because of not having a headset, it does and will happen if you don't have one.

Learn the controls and mechanics such as weapons selection and character movements, aswell as game modes on unranked respawn rooms. Once you think your ready, then move into the ranked rooms where there is NO respawn.

Let guys know that you are new and willing to learn when you join a match, they will be more considerate if you do this and understand that we have all been new and some point lol.

And lastly have a great time and please mute your mic when your the last guy lol, no need to get killed cause of your house phone ringing or wife calling your name, god I love proximity chat greatest thing since slice bread :)

This sums it up...... Trust me it will take you a while to get a hang of the game....... It took me a while. You will run into a lot of"A" holes. Eventually you will run into a clan that will welcome you to there crew. If you want you can add me. My boyz and I are on almost everyday. Make sure you have a mic. We will school you...... but you dont have to join our clan. Oh.... yeah it's worth 15 bucks.
