Depends if you like SOCOM. I bought it and to me it felt like an incomplete product, especially compared to previous releases. To be honest, I'd rather spend that much on an incomplete game than on 3 new maps and 2 old :P
I've played some SOCOM in the past, and liked it, but didn't love it. I wasn't sure if the new DLC and patches made the game better. I do know for a fact this game still has a pretty healthy online community.
I thought $22.50 for the complete game was a pretty good deal.
But then again I could save the $28 or so in my PSN wallet for upcoming stuff...like Castle Crashers or something else.
$22 for everything is a great price. Socom is a game that you play to get better at. Even guys thats played from day 1 constantly want to be on just to get better. I played it non stop for a good year and a half basically, and loved it. The community is great and still going strong. But don't go in thinking your going to beast or something, especially in the ranked rooms. More than likely your going to have your butt handed to ya for quite some time, but through practice and patients aswell as map knowledge you can learn to run with the best of them, sorta lol.
It is not really a good game. Even with all of the patches and updates it still feels like a broken game that could have been a lot better. The map pack should be free after all of that.

You got that rite. I have played for several months and always got my butt kicked all the time. Still looking to get all the trophies at some time.
Its the only game on PS3 where people use teamwork. For some reason no one on PSN uses mics, except for SOCOM players. If developers would add in a mics only search feature, I could stop playing such a poorly made game.
the game is broken, and whats left of the community is mostly a bunch of immature halfwits so my advice is this, wait for socom 4, its coming out this fall and with the original devs zipper on the job, at least the game will be complete and not a half a s s' d attempt at a video game
