Network downloads, patches, etc......still yet to play a game.

I had to give up after 40 minutes and go back to Rock Band 2.

Is it my PS3/Connection? Or are the downloads that numerous and big.

Or should I return this game?

I returned my copy this morning for Dead Space. I might pick it up later on when it's on clearance. Maybe by then they'll have the servers and game all sorted out.

took me 40 minutes to do the install and get the patch and then to get online and play a game. Not sure why some people have the problem and others dont. maybe your network sucks or your ISP there are plenty of people online so it is working

It took me about a half hour to get into a game from the moment a popped the disc in for the first time. I think it has to do with your internet. And Socom is getting more reliable every day.

I started the downlaod and left my house for a bit, when i came back it was done so i dont really know how long it took. The game seems to be working fine for me though, i only had trouble playing on launch day.
