Hey guys do you think the new headset from SONY being bundled with SOCOM is going to be a hit or miss? we all know what happened with the MGS4 one :(, I found out the hard way
Usually, the ones that come with the games are pretty cheap to maintain the regular price tag. There are some decent LG ones for $20 or $30 (I paid $30 for mine here in Canada and it works great)
Since its going to be the official PS headset i would assume its pretty goodamericahellyeah
This is what sold me on it. From the previews that I have read on this headset, $20 seems like a still. Though I have a working headset already, I will still be getting the Socom bundle. Why no have 2 headsets?
since sony says its the official headset for PS3 I am sure it will be good. I know the only reason I am getting Socom this fall is because the headset alone cost $50.00 so for 10.00 more bucks I get a game also! Sadly with Star Wars force Unleashed, Saints Row 2, Left 4 Dead, Dead Space, Fallout 3, COD5, Resistance 2, Gears of War 2, Mirrors Edge, little big planet and some other games, I dont think I will be playing much socom.
Im pretty sure its going to be good. Rarely does sony ever package garbage with a game. I mean, they are better than that. I have it pre ordered already, so Im guessing its gonna be good. Of course, I do have 2 others but a 3rd headset wouldnt hurt..lol
This is going to put me @ about 5 headsets3 usb and 2 bluetooth. I have the Moto H500 which i barely use. I use a logitech USB and my old SOCOM one. and also BTW since we are on the SOCOM subject WTF is up with the beta key and beta release? It is september.
Yeah it looks like it will work great and all but I really think the biggest problem will be that it will not be very comfortable or it might not fit very well and start to fall off a lot.
Same as that. The only headset I use is the USB one I got with Socom for PS2-it works better than, and is more comfy(doesn't fall off either)on my ears than ,any bluetooth I've tried. I'll probably get this in the bundle but it does look like another uncomfortable one from where I'm sat-but I'll give it a chance I guess as I still use the last one they gave out.

Agreed. I have a motorola h3 which works perfectly fine for my phone and the ps3 but the mute button is a MUST for games. Also, the headset looks super duper nice!
