So it is obvious that Socom does have some server issues. But don't forget, Warhawk did, and it runs fine now. I was just wondering about the ranking system, do I not rank up because the servers are messed or because you HAVE to be in a clan to rank up?
Yeah it's being lazy right now but hopefully soon we'll get something or other out of it. I don't see any of my score on there, my kills nor my deaths nor anything.
I hope they fix this problem soon. Slant Six is really dropping the ball. They couldnt even get the trophies that were promised on the box!!!hillelslovak
I think they should call in some guys from Zipper.
i beleive oyu have to be in a clan, thats what some clan members told me when i asked them how to rank up while we played. I think that is what the icons are nest to there names in the lobby.
I do hope they fix the process on how you get into a game.....Give me an option to search just for a specific game play type from the get go...not after scrolling pages of filled channels only to find an open channel and the gameplay type is not in that channel..
Not a big deal..but after a few attempts...it gets old..
As for the ranking/stats bit...Right now I am not to concerned as I am learning the maps and tweaking the control setup....but I better not have to be in a clan to rank up...that would be extremely stupid
lol I am rank 3 right now. the ranking system is in fact working and is affected by server issues. In order to rank you must play the ranked games made by zipper as they seem to be the only ranked games. you can not create a ranked game at the moment i believe. If you can then there are certain conditions the room must have. you cannot have respawn. you have to have friendly fire. i believe those are the conditions as per my knowledge but the ranking system is working. And you do not have to be in a clan to rank i believe :)

Slant Six made the game not Zipper. And yeah, only Slant Six can make ranked games.
