So..How Many People are planning to get PSN Premium

I am planning on getting it. Though I need a new hard-drive cause I am already out of room. So after I take care of that, I will get it.

I'm on the fence about PSN+ as well. $50 a year actually isn't that bad though. I've spent more money buying groceries in one day, so $50 isn't much for a years-worth of premium service.

hmm, will get it when they add some sort of music~gaming intergration or if they offer 1 or 2 free movie rentals a month then iam all in.

If SCEA included a free game (LBP) like SCEE, then i would get it immediately. But sadly they dont offer itDroidPhysX

LBP is only like what, $20-$30 now? If you were planning on getting the premium service just for LBP, you might as well buy LBP at retail instead.

I'm just really not seeing what you get for $50. I know most of the fanboys will jump on it, and that's all well and good... but it's definitely not for me. We get a free game of their choosing (I like Wipeout, but who knows if I'll like the other games they offer? Are they even going to offer more free PS3 games?) free games from 15 years ago that haven't even been updated or anything, free "Minis" (basically like the kinda flash games you can play online for free) indie games I've never heard of and have no interest in, discounts on a few other really old Midway games from almost 20 years ago (not even free... discounts of a buck or so), themes (there's thousands of themes on the internet for free), avatar pics (ohhh a fat princess by my name... um... awesome?), one hour full game demos (of 1 game at a time? That THEY choose) then I still have to pay full price if I want to buy the game, a dollar or so off of add-ons for PSN games (not a couple bucks off the actual game even... ADD ONS)

Then there's what... auto downloads? I think I can do that manually, thanks. Early demos? How many games will participate in this? And how early? A few days? Will they be on PSN+ even before they go to Xbox? Or is Sony just going to hold them back on their console for non-paying members? Betas? Not a whole lot of games really have betas anyways... I'm guessing Killzone 3 probably. Still not worth $50.

Go ahead and call me cheap and tell me how you can afford $50 a year, I don't mind... I just like to feel like I'm actually getting something worthwhile for my money, and right now I'm not seeing that with PSN+. I was excited for it and ready to jump on it (1 or 2 HD movies of my choice a month and I'd jump on it even)... but as it stands I think I'll wait. Hopefully in the future they'll offer me something that will make me want to spend the money, because I'd honestly love to get it if I felt it was worthwhile.

In general, the package seems pretty good "BUT" at the moment it's not offering anything of use for me. I'm sure that will change....eventually...

I'm trying to get it, but my debit card is not being accepted for some reason. It's kind of annoying. I hope it's just a temporary delay and not a permanent problem.

i subscibed to psn+ last night. it well pay off for me because of the ps1 downloads alone. but some of the other features are what i got psn+ for{instant betas}. but i can see why some people wont need psn+ if all they do is just online.

I'm not getting it right now. Maybe if they add some more features in the future. The price isn't bad, I'm just not very interested in the stuff they've got on it.

I'm getting it. A bunch of whiners in this thread, they already give you about the value of the 15 month subscription's worth in one month, given you may not want all or even close to all the games, but, regardless, this over a period of 15 months is a good deal.
