Yea, water got on my controller. I thought it was dead, but it now seems to be working---with one flaw: it will inexplicably turn on, thus turning on my PS3, every so often. Do you have any explanation for this or any suggestions for how to fix it?

Damn, that sucks :(

Try waiting for a few days, and in the mean time, keep your PS3 turned off and not in standby mode.

Yea, it seems like that's what I'm gonna have to do if I want to keep this controller.

Thats funny, usually when I spill water on my electronics they work better. I dropped my phone in water before and when I finally dried it all off it finally showed the option to access the T-Zones. Then I did it again and camera started to be able to zoom in and out.

Try placing your controller close to a lamp that is facing directly on top of the controller and leave it there for a few hours, it be better puttin your controller in a warm room in your house so it can dry up.

if your buttons get jammed you are screwed, just turn your controller upside down and it will be fine u have to do it fast though within minutes. but just dry it out using hot air from a hair dryer or something.
