Some freezing issues...

okay so I've had my PS3 for a while now (over a year) and I'm having a few... issues. I keep my PS3 on my desk here at school, next to a window, which I keep closed at all times. The blind next to the window stays down, so it's not baking in the sun either. However, lately, I've been having freezing issues here and there. Not skipping issues, like it stops for a minute and then keeps going, but full on freezing. It happened first with Heavenly Sword and then with Infamous a few days later. Any insight?

i don't have an answer for this, but it might be that there's something wrong with the hardrive, maybe from being overheated or being played for extended amounts of time. But why is your PS3 at school may I ask?

Mine froze once. The game stopped for a minute so it could sign into PSN and add a Trophy. But there was no message, I thought the game had stopped and was about to turn it off, then a trophy was added.

Mine froze twice while playing M: UA2 and I had to reset, and hiccuped once while playing Batman: AA. I have a early model 60 Gb model.
