4. warhawk looks sweet some early problems but should be ironed out soon

5. as for games heavenly sword, uncharted, haze, cod4, NFS pro street, skate, lots more coming

1. dont have gh but i cant imagine it playing any different than on the ps2

2. I have 60 gb and its plenty, hurry up though, there are only a few left. The whole 40 gb ps3 isnt confirmed btw.

3.Warhawk is amazing, i play it every day and go for hours without realizing it. The whole rank thing still needs work, but it will be eventually fixed.

4. The ps3 has wifi so if you have wireless internet you can use that without any cables or buying anything else. If not then, you can buy a router.

5. Current games: Warhawk, resistance, R6vegas/GRAW2, motorstorm, Ninja gaiden, Super stardust/calling all cars/tekken (downloadable). Future: Uncharted, heavenly sword, Fifa, killzone 2, R&C, MGS4, UT3, Haze, rockband/gh3. Theres alot of games coming within the next little bit that i didnt even mention.

6.The ps3 runs great, i dont have any complaints so far.

1. How does Guitar Hero play on the PS3???

Ihavenoidea,Iassumeitplaysfine.

2. how much memory space do you really need? is 40 gigs enough or do you need more? i.e. how much space have you used on your PS3?

Ive had mine for about 2 months and Ive used about 30gb, its fine though you can just buy a cheap hardrrive from anywhere and put it in.

3. is WarHawk really that amazing because it looks freakin sweet!

Havent played it yet but it must be, it looks so sick.

4. to get online on the PS3, do you need a router to access the internet or does the PS3 do something different.

The PS3 has built on Wi-Fi, so you can pick up a wireless router signal or if its close enough do a wired connection with an ethernet cable.

5. which games do you reccommend?(games already out and games that you are anticipating)

Rainbow Six Vegas, Motorstorm, Heavenly Sword Warhawk and Tekken 5 DR

6. anything that you dont like about the PS3?

Honestly cant think of a single thing.

Don't know about Guitar Hero. I'm a singstar guy. Online is provided by an ISP like always. I love it and I'll love it more when the games are here. FF, MGS, Killzone, LBP, UT3, a new IP from R*, and many more!

i really want a PS3 but the price is just 2 much. so here a some questions for PS3 owners and if i get some good answers then i might ask for one for this x-mas :)

1. How does Guitar Hero play on the PS3???

a. I haven't tried it, but once GH III and Rock Band come out, it'll work just like it does with the 360 with downloadable content and all. With the addition of free online and (additional) wireless controllers

2. how much memory space do you really need? is 40 gigs enough or do you need more? i.e. how much space have you used on your PS3?

a. Depends on how much media you put on it. I have roughly 1000 songs, a dozen demos, downloadable games, trailers, game saves and game data and I've only used up about 30GB. more is always better, but 40GB is PLENTY.

3. is WarHawk really that amazing because it looks freakin sweet!'

a. It's my favorite online game ever. Being able to have friends drop in and out of split screen play on the fly is something EVERY multiplayer game should have.

4. to get online on the PS3, do you need a router to access the internet or does the PS3 do something different.

a. You can access online directly through a cable modem, through a wired router or via a wireless access point from a wireless router or nearby hotspot. You have a lot of options, and as long as you have a broadband connection it will work as soon as you plug it in.

5. which games do you reccommend?(games already out and games that you are anticipating)

a. If you like shooters, Resistance, Rainbow Six: Vegas and Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 are solid choices. Warhawk is another must-have game if you plan on playing online and have friends that like playing splitscreen. Oblivion is probably the best single-player game on the system, so if you haven't played it on 360 or PC, it's definitely worth $60. There are a handful of great downloadable games too, such as Super Puzzle Fighter, Calling All Cars, Super Stardust HD as well as some PSOne ****cs.

6. anything that you dont like about the PS3?

a. I have no complaints at all now that the games are starting to come out.

thanks and please only answer if you own a PS3.

1. Dont know, haven't played it on ps3 2.That question is really broad, it really depends on what you like to do ex. put music/movies games etc on it. Me personally i have a 60gig and i 42 gbs left i believe, but i only use it to download the new demos that come out, because my computer is right beside the ps3 so i dont need music on it or games, it's all about your preferences. 3. Yes, warhawk is freakin sweet :) 4. Once again, my computer is right beside my ps3 so i just unplug the ethernet cords and go, but yes you can use a router for your ps3, dont know too much about routers so im not the best person to ask. 5. some games that im waiting for are metal gear solid 4, call of duty 4, god of war3:)eventually , socom:confrontation, nhl 08, dynasty warriors 6, and alot more those are just the ones that i can think of within this time. Some games that i have are Rainbow 6 vegas, madden 08, warhawk and a collection of ps2 greatness. 6. not so much that i dont like about the ps3, although when i first got my ps3 it gave me trouble tryin to get on the internet but now it doesnt give me any hassle. Hope that could be some help.

1) Don't know, not a fan of the guitar games... maybe someone could answer that...

2) You can easily get the lower hard drive for now and upgrade the hard drive later when you feel like it. Sony allows the users to just pop off the back and replace your current hard drive in there with a notebook hard drive of any size you want.

3) Yep, Warhawk is an awesome game and I'm surprised you haven't bought the PS3 just for that game alone. It feels so immersive at time and so fun, no game on any platform has touched what it has been able to do... my opinion though.

4) You don't need a router but I would recommend high speed internet. This means you need either DSL or Cable internet and there is a cord slot in the back of the PS3 that allows for easy hook up and play. You could use the wifi portion of the PS3if you want to use a router but I just don't use that portion of the PS3 due to lagging in gameplay and frequent log outs.

5) Damn you... I could go on for days naming games.

Games out already:

Warhawk, Resistance, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Ridge Racer 7, The Darkness, Elder Scolls 4: Oblivion, LAIR (you have to have patience for that one)

Games coming out later:

Killzone 2, Unreal Tournament 3, Haze, StrangleHold Collectors Edition, Heavenly Sword, Uncharted, Metal Gear Solid 4, GT5, Ratchet and Clank Future, list could go on for days....

6) Nothing actually, I'm pretty happy with my purchase!

i really want a PS3 but the price is just 2 much. so here a some questions for PS3 owners and if i get some good answers then i might ask for one for this x-mas :)

1. How does Guitar Hero play on the PS3???The PS2 version of this game should also play on the console and when the PS3 version comes out then you would be set. The PS2 guitar might need a converter to work on the PS3 unless it uses USB. But then in time there may be a guitar out that uses the Blu-Tooth technology which would be great.

2. how much memory space do you really need? is 40 gigs enough or do you need more? i.e. how much space have you used on your PS3? Sony has not said anything about even releasing a 40 gig version of PS3 so that may not be a option at all, besides the smaller HDD would almost have to be a special build that would add to the cost of the console. Most manufcactures are only producing larger HDD any more.

3. is WarHawk really that amazing because it looks freakin sweet!I don't know but from what some have posted it was great for them.

4. to get online on the PS3, do you need a router to access the internet or does the PS3 do something different. If you are not close to the modem then a router will be needed either wired or wireless. You still need internet access (do not use dial-up because it's just doesn't support the system).

5. which games do you reccommend?(games already out and games that you are anticipating)Socom and later the 6th version of Socom, GROW 2, COD4,

6. anything that you dont like about the PS3?Nothing it's all good.

thanks and please only answer if you own a PS3.

1. From what I hear the converter they sell is a flat out disaster. You can't change the difficulty from the defaults.

2. I 'd be surprised if I 've used like 5 gbs so far.

3. Yes, but R6 Vegas is better imho.

4. I use wireless and have never had any problems, the ps3 read it perfectly.

5. Warhawk and Oblivion would be my first choices. NG Sigma, R6Vegas, and Rfom wouldn't be too bad either.

6. Voice chat in games just isn't utilized as well as it should be this late in the consoles lifespan. 1of every 7 people playing games talks, if not worse. PSN just isn't as easy to use as XBL atm in terms of seeing what your friends are playing, sending them msgs and what not.

1. I hear you need a USB->PS2 controller adapter that are hit and miss with the Guitar Hero controllers.

2. I've have about 30 GB left, but that's because I don't delete the videos I download. If there is a 40 GB, it should be enough, assuming your not gonna download everything on the PS Store.

3. WarHawk is awesome.

4. You'll need a router, PS3 is no different.

5. I'd recommend RFOM, Motorstorm and WarHark if your into online games. For single player I'd recommend Oblivion, NG:S, and possibly Heavenly Sword. I'm looking forward to Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, LittleBigPlanet, and Haze (I'm probably forgetting some...).

6. Not Yet :D

1. dude...its gutar hero it plays the same everywhere lol

2.i have a 60GB PS3, if ur gunna get one wait for the 40GB PS3s for 399.99 this holiday season, 40GB should be just fine ive never used more than 10 so far, and if you ever want to upgrade its cheap, and easy to do.

3. warhawk is AWSOME gameplay loads and loads of fun, though the servers are annoying to join, that was/is being fixed...like now lol

4.for PS3 you need a router, you can ether hardwire, or go wireless

5. R:FOM / WARHAWK / MOTOSTORM / NGS

6. i dont liek the lack of games at the moment, but i knwo that a huge amount are coming out, so that counteracts what i just said, also i dont liek the fact that you need an HD-TV to install linux (though i am getting one soon) problem solved, neways if u have ne other questions feel free to ask/ or PM me

1. How does Guitar Hero play on the PS3???

as of now guitar hero can be played on the ps3, the problem is in the ps2 controllers, there is no analog button which makes it incompatible... i'm hoping that the new controllers will work with the old games and fix this problem.

2. how much memory space do you really need? is 40 gigs enough or do you need more? i.e. how much space have you used on your PS3?

well, i haven't used that much, but thankfully you can always upgrade. the amount of space you use depends on what you are going to be doing on your ps3. are you going to be downloading music, videos, and pictures or strictly for games? are you going to be downloading games from the ps store? or are you just going to be using the ps3 for game save data? all of these things use different amounts of space, but you can always upgrade if needed.

3. is WarHawk really that amazing because it looks freakin sweet!

don't know haven't played it, i'm not really into flight games... they tick me off.

4. to get online on the PS3, do you need a router to access the internet or does the PS3 do something different.

you need high-speed internet. you can hook it directly into your modem or into a router, or use a wireless router to connect wirelessly, don't know what you mean about "different"

5. which games do you reccommend?(games already out and games that you are anticipating)

well, i guess warhawk since you sound interested, but resistance, motorstorm, and rainbow six: vegas are also good games. there are many good games coming out soon, you should check the list and find something to your liking.

6. anything that you dont like about the PS3?

it makes the room really hot, which should be good in the winter, lol. honestly i can't really think of anything else, it's just a fairly young console that doesn't have as many games as the competitors, that's the main complaint, but that will be fixed soon, all we can do is wait.

thanks and please only answer if you own a PS3.

1. for guitar hero 1&2 you can get an adaptor that you can hook PS2 controllers/guitars into the USB. guitar hero 3 will be wireless

2. 40 gigs will probably be enuff, just remember the extra space lets you hold music, videos, pictures and all the fun stuff. and PS3 updates and PS3 and stuff might take some up but you should be good

3. warhawks good but there are plentyof other game that are much better in my opinion

4. you will need a router, but it can be wired or wireless

5. cant waith for skate, cod4, army of two, socom, mgs4, god of war 3

6. onlya few things that are promised to be iroed out in the near future with PS3 updates, like playing music while doing other things and having the media bar available during games.

its got blu-ray, the ray of the future, you can use blootooth headsets, the online (PS3 home) will be amazing a free, exclusives are great, its just a highly compatible high preformance beuatiful machine. i own all 3 nex gen and i love PS3

i really want a PS3 but the price is just 2 much. so here a some questions for PS3 owners and if i get some good answers then i might ask for one for this x-mas :)

1. How does Guitar Hero play on the PS3???

If you're talking about the PS2 version. I heard that if you get the PS controler/USB adaptor it should work. I don't own GH myself though. But the PS3 version is comming out, so why bother with the PS2 version right?

2. how much memory space do you really need? is 40 gigs enough or do you need more? i.e. how much space have you used on your PS3?

Well the 60 gig PS3's are zapping away and being replaced with the 80 gig ones. It all depends what you're using it for really. If you're just using it for games and random bits here and there and not trying to run it like a full fledged PC running Linux then you're fine. If so, just go get yourself a bigger SATA HD.

3. is WarHawk really that amazing because it looks freakin sweet!

I did the Beta going in as a sceptic and it was actually pretty damn fun.

4. to get online on the PS3, do you need a router to access the internet or does the PS3 do something different.

Routers only split your network connection and use a hardware firewall, nothing more. There's no special task to do. Either you run it through your router, or connect it directly with a CAT5(aka Ethernet) cable. I wouldn't recommend wireless though as far as playing games online goes.

5. which games do you reccommend?(games already out and games that you are anticipating)

If you're already a gamer, you don't need anybody else to anwser this question. You know what you like, we can't think or decide for you.

6. anything that you dont like about the PS3?

Well there are some minor ones. But which are already confirmed to be fixed/solved with Home comming out this fall so there's no need to worry about much.

thanks and please only answer if you own a PS3.

1. havent played GH2

2. I have the 60 GB ps3 and I have 41 free space, and I have a lot of demos that I will erase when I get the games, so its fine with the 40 GB model, and if u run out of space u can buy a another hdd

3. Havent played warhawk

4. Yes, or u can connect your modem to the ps3 with an ethernet cable

5.Oblivion, ninja gaiden sigma, heavenly sword, Final Fantasy 13 and vs 13, Gran Turismo, Asassin creed, Pro evolution soccer, devil may cry 4, virtua tennis 3, and others.

6. Nothing bad with ps3.

Since everyone has pretty well summed up most things, I'm only going to add this:

1) I own GH1 and 2 and I bought this. It works great for GH1 (haven't noticed any differences) but I've had some problems with GH2. It has a switch specifically for that game which for some reason turns itself off between songs, which is odd. (never during one though, thankfully). Also, the frets onscreen don't light up 'till I strum, but it never misses it's mark. It's odd, to say the least, but it has gotten the job done and once again, it works flawlessly in GH1.
