someone should post the 2.4 download

If anyone downlloaded the 2.4 update file from playstation.com and still has it, they should post it somewhere for people who want to download it!-DeStijl-

it hasnt bricked everyones.. Im willing to take a chance. It defanitly seems like it works for more people. Even if it did brick my PS3 ill just back up all my saves before i attemp it. And if it bricks ill reformat my HD-DeStijl-

I have taken one out before when i upgraded to a 160 gig, it wouldnt be hard to do it again.

I have taken one out before when i upgraded to a 160 gig, it wouldnt be hard to do it again.

^^^PS3 fanboys are willing to go to incredible lengths to experience in-game dashboard....

Well 2.4 firmware problems seems to me to be either corruption of the firmware while downloading or because of the re-downloading from error leaving corrupted files on the hard drive.

The true answer is I don't know nor do I care much to know. I updated my ps3 at 3:55 PM from a site that had the 2.4 firmware update.

For people wanting to update their ps3 here it is just follow the usb update method and you are good to go *old taco bell hand sign*. (PS… I am not responsible for any problems you get if you brick your system)
